Blogtronix is a social media platform for Enterprise 2.0 communication.  We provide a single, unified system that includes blogs, wikis, and social networking.  Unlike other companies, we are able to offer a product that’s easy to use, scalable and can be delivered either on-demand or as a software.  We are equipped with a rich feature set that includes vlogging, podcasting, flash as well as a fully customizable interface.  Our applications range from corporate in-house collaboration to global user created networks.

Vassil Mladjov

Vassil is an entrepreneur with over 10 years of executive and high-tech startup experience, focusing on innovative business collaboration with the latest web and media technologies.


Vassil started writing software applications while still in high school in the mid-80s and, later, in the Air Force he developed an e-learning training software.  After graduating from SFSU in finance, he worked on a startup with Sun Microsystems executives for offering business software as a service over the Internet (today known as SaaS.)


Most recently, Vassil Mladjov founded Blogtronix after working for many years in the Financial sector where the need for better communication and collaboration using Web 2.0 technologies was very important.  In 2002, Vassil founded StreamingMarketplace.com, an on-line portal focusing on streaming media technology and services.  Vassil was also a CTO for AlwaysOn Network, a VP and director of technology for corporate communications at ABN AMRO Bank, a VP and CIO in charge of media streaming operations and media hosting at ITN, and as a technology consultant with UB Group, Preferred Technology, and Sage Clearing.  Over the years, Vassil has created new business models for the digital media industry and has worked closely with Microsoft, Apple, Akamai, Speedera, PBS, Charles Schwab, Sun Microsystems, and Wells Fargo.

Nikolay Dimitrov
Nick Dimitrov
VP, CTO


Nick has been a founding member of the Blogtronix team since its inception in 2005.  Nick was the Software Architect on the Blogtronix platform and lead the development team in this new endeavor over the years.  His strong leadership and technology skills helped us from the start to make the Blogtronix platform into the award winning product today, which is now used by companies such as Reuters, RedHerring, NBSO, Entriq and many others.  Nick brings many years of  technology and managerial experience from his work with leading global companies like Bell Canada, Tenrox, and Norton Systems.  Over the years Nick has worked and consulted on a number of web projects for StreamingMarketplace.com, Fimat USA, and Mitsubishi among others.  He has graduated from the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria with a B.S. in Engineering & Computer Science.  Today, Nick is responsible to lead our development team and works closely with our customers and partners making sure that the Blogtronix platform is scalable, secure, and can integrate seamlessly with other internal and external systems and applications.

 






Richard Walton
VP, Biz Dev


Richard is an experienced entrepreneur and executive and has been the founder of several companies.  He has an extensive background in business development, marketing and advertising services, business unit management, and production management.  As Sr. Vice-President, Business Development for VentureChoice, Richard sourced and researched investment and investor opportunities, evaluated business plans and developed the corporate message to position a company for presentation and to find funding.  Richard was President/COO of Matrix Communications, which provided marketing, advertising and sales, support, services and materials for many prominent Silicon Valley companies.  As Production Manager at Heinzen Manufacturing he helped a small company grow into the leading U.S. manufacturer of fresh food processing and handling equipment.  Rich’s responsibilities included production management and scheduling, new manufacturing technologies acquisition, facilities management, and IT acquisition and implementation.





Brad Engmann
VP, Operations

Brad has been with Blogtronix since its inception.  As an investor, he has taken an active role in the day to day operations of the company.  While at and after graduating from the University of San Francisco, Brad was involved in the Silicon Valley WISP startup Zinc Technologies.  There, he spearheaded site development initatives to deploy wireless equipment to "the last mile."  Much of this involved market research, as well as working closely with various city governments around the Bay Area.  When he left Zinc, Brad began a job as an analyst for Revere Data in San Francisco, worked in marketing and promotion, and created statistical real time trading models.  After initially working only part time with Blogtronix, he joined the team as a full member in late 2006.






Ivan PopGruev
VP, Strategy


Ivan brings large scale corporate experience from his work at Bechtel in corporate strategy, six sigma operations, project management and engineering, in addition to leadership experience from the military.


As a Project Director, Ivan was member of the Bechtel CEO 2000 e-Business Team, which formulated the e-business strategy for the corporation and invested in strategic initiatives and start-ups.  He initiated and implemented a social networking-based Knowledge Management Program for Bechtel's finance and ownership arm, Bechtel Enterprises, Inc.  Ivan is formally trained in Six Sigma and has implemented operations improvement projects in information technology and corporate finance.  His experience with Bechtel began in 1997 with engineering and continued through 2005 to include project management on a Department of Defense sponsored U.S. Army chemical weapons destruction plant.  Ivan served in the military in chemical warfare intelligence for the Army and is a veteran of the armed forces.

Ivan is currently finishing his MBA at the Rady School of Management at the University of California at San Diego with a concentration in entrepreneurship and finance.  He holds appointments as a Teaching Assistant in Project Management, Accounting, and Investments.  Ivan earned his BS degree from the College of Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley.


He is a member of the Corporate Finance Council of San Diego and the American Finance Association, and enjoys Ironman Triathlon.
